{"id":758,"date":"2025-06-09T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T04:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agentkart.com\/?p=758"},"modified":"2025-06-07T14:55:33","modified_gmt":"2025-06-07T09:25:33","slug":"gurugram-cracks-down-on-illegal-construction-weekly-camps-inspections-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.agentkart.com\/news\/gurugram-cracks-down-on-illegal-construction-weekly-camps-inspections-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"Gurugram Cracks Down on Illegal Construction: Weekly Camps &amp; Inspections Underway!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Attention Residents of Gurugram!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) is launching a targeted enforcement drive to curb unauthorized construction and illegal commercial activities in upscale residential colonies across the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why the crackdown?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rising complaints of illegal extensions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Misuse of stilt areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basement constructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residential properties being used for commercial purposes (showrooms, restaurants, grocery shops, guest houses).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Homebuyers converting stilt parking into rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Constructing unauthorized structures in open spaces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building five to seven-storey buildings without sanctioned plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What&#8217;s Happening?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Weekly Camps:<\/strong> DTCP&#8217;s enforcement wing will hold weekly camps in prominent colonies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>On-the-Spot Inspections:<\/strong> Complaints will be verified on the spot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Immediate Action:<\/strong> If violations are found, show-cause notices will be issued and pasted the same day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dedicated Teams:<\/strong> Each camp will include a planning assistant, junior engineer, and assistant town planner to verify complaints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Procedures:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Property owners have <strong>15 days<\/strong> to submit a response after receiving a notice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the response is unsatisfactory, or if illegal construction is not removed within <strong>seven days after notice expiry<\/strong>, sealing proceedings will be initiated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Targeted Colonies Include:<\/strong> DLF I to 5, Sushant Lok 1, 2 and 3, South City 1 and 2, Malibu Towne, Palam Vihar, Vatika India Next, Greenwood City, Nirvana Country, and Bestech Amstoria, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Be aware, comply with regulations, and help build a planned Gurugram!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Attention Residents of Gurugram!
