Deleting your AgentKart account
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. If you have already uninstalled it, write to us and we will do it for you.
In the app
Open AgentKart, go to You → Account, and choose Delete account. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
If you have uninstalled the app
Email info@agentkart.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm your identity, delete it, and write back to tell you it is done — within 30 days, and usually the same week.
What is deleted
- Your name, photo and profile details
- Your email address, replaced with an anonymous placeholder
- Your postal addresses and any business registration numbers you gave
- Your uploaded Aadhaar, PAN and other verification documents — the files themselves are deleted from storage
- The link between your Aadhaar and this platform, so you are free to sign up again later
What we keep, and why
Three things survive a deletion. We would rather name them than hide behind “as required by law”.
Financial records
Payments, refunds and wallet entries. Indian accounting and tax rules require these to be kept, and they are not ours to delete on request.
Safety reports made about you
If another person reported you, that report stays. Otherwise deleting an account would be a way to clear your record.
An anonymous verification record
A one-way code derived from your identity document, with no name attached. It is what stops the same document being used to create accounts repeatedly, and it identifies nobody on its own.
