How AgentKart actually works, in plain terms.

EVERYONE IS VERIFIED

Every buyer, seller and agent gives an Aadhaar number when they register, and a real person checks it before the account goes live. Agents also give PAN and record a short liveness video, so we know the person registering is the person in the documents.

You will never see anyone's document number — yours or theirs. Other people see only that a document was checked.

Approval usually takes under 24 hours. You will be emailed either way.

SUGGESTIONS ARE LIMITED, ON PURPOSE

Each day you receive a set number of suggestions, depending on your plan. They are chosen for your area, your budget and what you are looking for.

The number counts what you are SHOWN, not what you do with it. Three suggestions means three, whether you say yes to all of them, pass on all of them, or ignore them. This is deliberate: it keeps the deck a considered shortlist rather than an endless feed, and it is why the people on it get real attention.

Allowances reset at midnight, Indian time.

NOBODY CAN CALL YOU OUT OF THE BLUE

Chat opens only when both sides have expressed interest. Until then nobody has your number, and nobody can contact you.

That is the whole design: no cold calls, ever.

SEARCH IS SEPARATE

Search has its own daily allowance, apart from your suggestions. You answer a few questions, we look, and you decide on the results.

A search that finds nothing does not count against you.

SELLERS AND LISTINGS

A property is reviewed before it goes live, and again when it is edited. Nothing appears in anyone's app until it has been through that.

You choose which agents represent a property. More than one agent can be authorised; when one of them sells it, it leaves the others' lists.

AK VERIFIED

Agents can pay a refundable deposit to carry the AK Verified badge. It signals that the agent has put something at stake behind their conduct. It is refundable — an agent can ask for it back and leave the programme.

The badge is about accountability. It is not a rating, and it is not our opinion of anyone's ability.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We are not a broker. We do not take a cut of your deal. We do not hold money for a property transaction. We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing.
