How do you verify agents?
Agents submit identity and business documents during registration, and a member of our team reviews every submission before the account can appear in anyone’s matches. Agents who want to go further can add AK Verified, which is backed by a refundable security deposit.
What is AK Verified?
It is an optional upgrade where an agent places a refundable ₹15,000 security deposit with AgentKart. The deposit is returned in full when they leave in good standing, and can be reduced or forfeited if ghosting or fraud is proven after a review by our team. Buyers on the Prestige plan see AK Verified agents exclusively.
What happens when a property sells?
The close is started and the buyer and seller each confirm independently. Once both confirm, the listing is marked sold and removed from every feed immediately. A buyer who is done looking can hide their profile and reactivate later with fresh requirements.
Is AgentKart free to use?
Yes. Buyers start on Scout, agents on Associate, and every seller’s first listing is free — permanently, not as a trial. On a free plan you are matched with verified agents, and with buyers and sellers who are also on free plans, which is enough to find a property or sell one. Paying adds two things: a wider daily limit, and the ability to match directly with the other side instead of going through an agent.
Which cities is AgentKart live in?
AgentKart works across India. We build depth city by city rather than switching everything on at once — an empty deck helps nobody — so some cities have far more verified agents than others. Search your area in the app to see who is active near you.
Can I use AgentKart without an agent?
Yes, on a paid plan. Direct buyer-to-seller matching is what a paid plan unlocks — Seeker or Prestige for a buyer, a boosted listing for a seller. Free accounts are matched through verified agents instead. Either way you can bring in an agent at the closing stage to vet documents and handle registration, and split their fee.
Will my phone number be shared with agents?
No. Your number is never displayed and never sold. Everything — chat, voice and video — happens inside the app, and you decide if and when to take a conversation outside it.
Do you sell leads to agents?
No, and we do not plan to. Agents reach you only when you have shown interest in them too. Selling cold contact details is exactly the practice AgentKart exists to replace.
